Denver Nanny Agency: Vetted Nannies for Families Across the Metro
Updated: 37 minutes ago
Denver is home for us. It's where The Family Care Collective started, and it's still where a big part of our families live. If you're looking for a nanny agency in Denver that actually gets to know you before sending candidates, you're in the right place.
My partner Mario and I run the agency together. We're a family business, not a call center, and we place nannies with families all over the Denver metro. We handle the search, the interviews, the reference calls and the background checks, so you only spend time on people who could really fit.
Where we place nannies around Denver
Most of our Colorado families are in or near:
Denver, including Wash Park, Cherry Creek, the Highlands, Park Hill and Central Park
Greenwood Village, Centennial and Littleton
Highlands Ranch, Castle Pines and Castle Rock
Lakewood, Golden and Arvada
Boulder and Louisville
Outside the metro? Reach out. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
The kinds of nannies we place
Full-time nannies for families who need steady, everyday care.
Part-time and after-school nannies for the hours between school, daycare and work.
Special needs nannies with real experience supporting kids with different learning, medical or behavioral needs.
Newborn and infant care for those first months, when you want someone calm who really knows babies.
House managers and family assistants for busy households that need help beyond childcare.
How our process works
Consultation. We start with a real conversation about your routines, your values and what matters most to you. Nap schedules, screen time, food, driving, pets, all of it.
Search. We recruit locally in the Denver metro and reach out to nannies we already know. We don't just forward you a pile of resumes.
Screening. Every candidate is interviewed by our team. We call references from past families and run a background check before you ever meet her.
Introductions. You meet a small group of nannies who actually fit. Usually that's a video call first, then a paid trial day.
Offer and onboarding. We help you think through pay, a written nanny agreement and the first few weeks so things start on the right foot.
Colorado has its own rules for nanny employers
Colorado treats nannies as household employees, and the state has specific rules about overtime, paid sick leave and rest breaks for domestic workers. Most parents don't know this until a payroll company or an accountant brings it up. We make sure you understand the basics before you make an offer, so nobody is caught off guard later.
This isn't tax or legal advice, and we always recommend checking with a CPA or a nanny payroll service. We just want you to go in with your eyes open.
Why use an agency instead of an app?
The apps give you volume. We give you a short list of people we've actually talked to. For a lot of busy Denver parents, that difference is worth it. And if something isn't working a few weeks in, you have someone to call.
Common questions
Do you only work with Denver families?
No. Denver, Salt Lake City and Boise are our home markets, and we place nannies with families across the country.
How long does a search take?
It depends on your schedule and how specialized the role is. We'll give you a realistic timeline on your first call.
Does the nanny work for the agency or for us?
She works for your family. We find and vet her, and we can recommend payroll services that handle Colorado nanny taxes.
Do you place part-time and special needs nannies?
Yes. We fill part-time, full-time and special needs roles.
We place nannies all over the state too. Read about our Colorado nanny agency.
